2001 dodge GRAND CARAVAN is making a noise somewhere on the left side of the engine. I think it is a pully of some sort. Upon visual inspection they all appear to be running smoothly without any vibration except for the largest one that has 4- grooves in it. There seems to be some vibration when it idles. Previous to the sound I have been noticing the power steering noise occasionally when making a turn. Any idea what this is likely to be?

Is the pulley you are refering to the power steering pump? IF so, it sounds like there may be a bearing going bad.

I think it is however it is difficult to pinpoint the sound. The power steering pulley/pump is in the back left area of the engine compartment.

Grab onto the pulley and see if there is any play when you try to move it up and down. Also, you could remove the belt and spin it to see if it is smooth and not making noise.
