How much mixture of flex 85 fuel and regular 87 octane gasoline can I use without causing a problem?

Is your vehicle a flex fuel vehicle? If it is, you can run 100 percent E85 which is 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline.

If it's not a flex fuel engine, it will run fine on regular gasoline which often has 10 percent ethanol already. It doesn't make sense to add E85 because your fuel mileage will drop considerably.
