This is for a 3. OL
The Shutdown relay(ASD) is first near the front, by itself, moving back are the clutch and fan,
then the ABS(if so equipped) starter, and fuel pump are on the shock(strut) tower.
You can have someone sit in the van and feel the relay for the fuel pump by touching it. This usually means the PCM is at least partially good. The fuel pump is controlled from the ASD relay which supplies the fuel and spark needed for ignition. Hearing the fuel pump means it works but not what pressure it is building. Check it for spark from the coil. Or coil pack. Both engines are differently run. On a 3. OL the cam is sensed by the distributor which will not turn if the timing belt breaks. There is no ignition relay. Just the PCM which contains the coil and injector driver circuits, so sorry. A fuse, bad wire or many things will keep the PCM from giving the engine ignition, especially an older van, is the fuse links, the engine harness and coil ok. The 3.3L is almost the same but a bit different sensor is used for cranking sense. Ok
