I have replaced my bad BCM on a 92 Caravan with a used one. Now when I start the vehicle the power door locks activate to the locked position and stay there even after the ignition is shut off. I cannot locate my owners manual to see how to program the locks. Replacing the BCM fixed all my other problems but created this one. How to do I set the locks to only work when I activate them with the interior lock button? I do not and have never had a keyless entry remote with this vehicle as it was not programmed with keyless entry.

I think you have the wrong BCM. Some had auto door locks at 15mph, if it is possible to change, you would need a DRBIII. If you call parts(Chrysler or Dodge) and tell them old BCM number they will tell you which one works and which does not. A newer one will see it differently and lock them up. That is all I can think of, there were so many different part numbers for year and interiors and engines.

The problem with that is the sticker with the number I need isn't on the original one and it isn't on the one I bought. You can see a spot where it was but it is gone and I don't know what happened to it. Dodge wanted to sell me a new one and use my VIN to program it. THey wanted $468.00 for one. I can't afford that but I may have to. Thanks for your answer.
I was hoping there would be a way to disable the lock mechanism like you can disable the seatbelt chime. Do you think that would work? If so, since I can't find my owner's manual could you point me in the direction to find one?
Thanks,
Brian Scott

The input is directly from the switch, it is on a 92 an orange/vio(orange with purple tracer. Any open in this wire will disable all locks. Lock output wire is orange/white. At body comp. Both The only other way would be to use a real good scanner to see if their is a "disable" function. The DRBIII in any Chrysler shop may or may not. A circuit breaker and a 20 amp fuse protects all circuits. Taking either one out will disable. Why not see if maybe it is possible that the lock relay is closed all the time and maybe this is what is wrong, it is mounted on the left side of dash, the unlock relay is on the right side. Swap em.
These are the only options I see. I'm glad to help you.
