2000 Dodge Avenger shuts off

After driving my 2000 dodge avenger awhile it shuts off and wont start. But after sitting for a half hour or so it will start and I could drive it for a couple of miles. And it will shut off again. So what could be wrong. I was told the fuel pump but I think its something elseAnd the milage is 125000

Has youre car fuel fitler been changed. Also are u getting check engine light on. I am thinking you may want to get youre fuel pump pressure tested, Also you could have a problem with youre crank sensor.

Same trouble without found solution, I spend much money try to repair ir without success.

Please some one help us, we are any Avenger´s Owners with this trouble
