I discovered a major leak coming from the transmission bellhousing. I dropped the trans and replaced the pump shaft seal and reinstalled the trans, once i started the car and put into gear it started pouring trans fluid out again. I dropped and inspected seal, but looks good, and torque convertor looks good. what am i missing?

May be the outer pump seal (O'ring) this is one that a trans shop should replace, it requires a puller and may also nee to remove the pan.Call a few trans shops and ask how much to reseal it on the bench, so you can do the expensive part (removal and replacement)
