I hear a hissing sound under the hood close to the throttle body and I inspected the vacuum hoses connected to the throttle body and none seem to have a pierce or tear where the hissing sound maybe coming from could it be possible that the gasket or the throttle body itself could have this vacuum leak also the mil is on with a code of a misfire which is caused by the vacuum leak correct?

Vacuum leaks are sometimes hard to find. It could even be the intake gasket that you hear. Some people will spray starting fluid in the area that they feel is leaking. When they hit the spot of the leak, the RPM's will go up. You can try that, but be careful because starting fluid is very flamable and can cause a fire if you hit a spot that is very hot. Try that to locate the leak, but have a fire extinguisher near by.

Let me know if this helps.
