Car does not want to start, will not turn over. We tried jump starting it. We put a new starter in it thinking it was the starter again. When we try to start it the lights come on, then when we try to start it or turn over the inside lights go off.

Could it be the crankshaft position sensor?

Paul asked if it had anti theft, no it does not. No power doors, locks, etc.

Thank you,
Donna

If it is not cranking, it is not the crankshaft pos sensor.

This is likley an electrcial problem. Sounds like the battery doesn't have enough power which may be due to a loose or dirty connection that may be at the battery or at the other ends of the cables. If the battery is bad enough a jump won't help.

Does this have anti theft?
