He ABS light is still on

I disconnected the stereo regarding my first question, the ABS light is still on. Any input prior to purchase is appreciated

Your going to need a DRBIII or at least a DRBII scan tool made for Chrysler to hook up and turn out that lamp. Make sure all the fuses are ok and the radio is disconnected then check why the ABS lamp is on, repair it, then turn the lamp off. You will need that scan tool to do that. Then hook up the radio. The chances are you will be able to enjoy music while having proper brakes at the same time. Then life would be better and your brakes will be ok. Sometimes you can turn the lamp off and the code will not come back, ever. Good luck. Avenger owner and technician, Joe

Rewired the radio (correctly), reset the computer and the ABS has not returned. Brakes are fine inspection was @ 100% thumbs up for your indebth advise..
