Shuts off when i put it in gear

My car starts right up, idles just fine but shuts off when i put it in gear.

Check and see if you are getting power to the neutral safety switch. works similar to a neutral safety switch in a standard shift car. also, check the wires under the car and make sure they are tight and clean. This may or may not hep but it is a good place to start.
