Diagram for the drive belt routing and replacement?

Replacing the drive belt and do not know the routing of the belt that is all the problem I have at the time I need a diagram that I can look at in order to rout the belt in the correct way to work on my car Please ans as soon as you can since I need the car for work and I am missing work right now owuraj japotjopej paouap patiptrj pati tr

I have been getting a whining noise from the engine on acceleration that has been getting worse for the last year. I think I narrowed it down to the idler pulley. Before I break the bolt off of the pulley, I wondering if this is a reverse thread?

No should be normal thread. Probably steel stuck in aluminum. If one in pic it maybe part of tensioner. Which should be replaced along with belt every 60k

Thanks. It worked and got rid of the noise. One more thing. When replacing the belt, does the tension need to be changed on the belt tensioner and if so how?

Its usually one piece in the pic it shows it it bolts with two bolts andyou just move it away from belt unhook belt then unbolt and reverse to replace.

How do you get the tensioner to move to loosen belt?

Loosen the bolt so the tensioner pulley moves up then when replaced tighten belt and use a belt tensioner gauge so it 's not to tight, auto parts may rent one.

My warranty expires in August so I took my car in for some issues. The dealer called me to say that I should have all 3 of my engine belts replaced due to the age of my car- even though it only has 28,000 miles on it. They said it is not covered under warranty and that it would cost me $140.00. Does this sound right to you?

Yes, although most maintenance repairs are made by mileage intervals, sometimes age overcomes mileage and forces you to need to replace it earlier. Even though the belts may only have a short amount of mileage, they still have been installed and used for several years from 2004 now. They can begin to crack and / or stretch even without many miles, simply due to age. The estimate you received is a fair price to pay for these repairs.

I had power steering pump replaced about 3 months ago. I started getting a squilling noise at start-up and short ride distance, about a week ago. I thought maybe the belt just needed tightening. This morning the power steering stopped working. I checked fluid, good. Noticed top belt was not turning at all. What is most likely the problem? Thank you, M. Clemons

Remove the belt and turn the power steering pump pulley by hand. If it is not turning, the pump has seized.

I had the serpintine belt and the 2 other belts that are usually changed at the same time, the serpintine belt. Things were great for about 2 weeks no noise, seemed fine.
Today I started up my car and the A/C was on and there was a loud squicking noise again. I turned of the A/C and it wasn't so loud.
Any clue what this might be.

The AC belt needs to be readjusted. It may have stretched a little, just enough to make noise. If you check it, I bet you'll see that it's loose.

Can you please give me step by step instructions on how to install a new alternator accessory belt? Alternator accessory belt fell off. Do I need to first take off the A/C belt? How do I know how much to tighten tensioner? Please help.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Yes, You must take off the A/C belt first, then the power steering belt second, and then the alternator belt is third which is the farthest back. I've attached below the specifications for your vehicle. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
