Welcome to 2CarPros. Many of the NPRs from that era do not have an OBD2 compliant port. They used a 3 pin port that will be tucked up in the harness to the left side of the drivers side footwell, You can read the codes on those using a jumper wire across the outer two contacts. On the ones that do have an OBD port, they are hidden behind a plastic cover under the dash, either up near the steering column or over the top of the engine hump.
