Intermittent issue of dashboard not working

Sometimes, mostly in the morning, I start my truck up and the dashboard lights don't come on. The truck drives like normal just no dashboard lights or gauges work. Sometime I can turn the truck off and back on and everything comes on fine other times I have to turn the truck off and on quote a few times before everything comes on like normal. Sometimes I will turn it off and back on and it comes on and then goes out by the time I put it in drive to go.
