Unable to see the dashboard info, such as direction or anything else. I've tried the light switch in every position possible. We have a carport and during the day time hours when pulling under the port I can see them very well. You can see them come on, but as soon as I pull out the lights go out. They are fine at night time.I had it to the Lincoln dealer and they said nothing could be done. What is the solution? Is there a photo-cell that can be covered which seems to work when pulling under the carport. Thanks Gary

Check around for the dimmer switch that adjust the brightness of the dash lights. Make sure its in the highest adjustable level.

Johnnyt73, I've checked that part out. They come on at dusk time and when I pull under the carport, even during daylight hours. You can hear a switch click as soon as I'm under the carport.

There should be a sun load sensor on the dash near the bottom of the windshield somewhere. I wouldn't cover it because it automatically turns your headlights on and off pending on the amount of light it senses. Can you manually turn your headlights on and off to help with the issue?

JohnnyT73.I can turn the lights on and off, but leave it the "running light" position so they're on every time I start the car. Regardless the position I have the front headlight switch, the instrument panel lights only appear when under the carport or at night.

These LED dashboards go out all the time, you will need to replace it, you can send it into a please such as AER in Brea CA for an exchange unit.
