Hi,
Has anything other than the cruise control stopped? Have you confirmed that the brake light is not staying on? Is the speedometer working properly?
I attached a pic below of the wiring schematic. There aren't too many things that can cause failure. What I would suggest doing is having the CAN bus system scanned to see if there are error codes related to the cruise control. CAN stands for computer area network. If the basic things above are all okay, this is what should be done.
