Left house went a quarter of a mile it starts to stall and shuts off. Restarted and went twenty feet and shut off. Would not restart but cranks great. May have run out of gas. Put five gallons in and will not start after twelve tries but cranks great. Checked oil, 2 at low. Put two quarts in. No codes with my little mid price code reader. Fuel pump has power and works per fuel coming out of filter exit port when hose removed fairly good stream.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

If you have good fuel pressure, then you need to check to see if the engine lost spark. Also, I need to know if the engine sounds normally when the starter engages. In other words, does it turn faster than normal or have an uneven sound to it.

Here is a link that shows how to check for spark:

Also, look through this link. It discusses common causes for a crank/no start condition.

Do these things and let me know what you find. Also, if you need additional information, let me know.

Take care,
Joe
