Before it actually cranks, I hear one click under the hood and then nothing, will not start?

I have the car listed above SI Xdrive, when I push the button to crank it all the instrument panel lights come on as well as the A/C headlights etc. But before it actually cranks, I hear one click under the hood and then nothing. The lights and everything will stay on like in the accessory position, but it won't start.
