Why can't I find just the thermostat for my truck? All I can find for sale is the thermostat housing. Is this because I have to replace the housing to replace the thermostat or do they sell the thermostat separate for the truck listed above SV model?

Good morning, MATTHEWJON,

Yes, in this instance the housing contains the thermostat. Here is the part number I found 11061-EZ30A.

I am adding a picture from my Nissan catalog as well as a picture of the part on Nissan's parts website. Here is the URL for you:
https://parts.nissanusa.com/p/89453815/11061-EZ30A.html

When replacing it you will need these 2 gaskets:
11062EZ30A-Gasket-Water Outlet
130501CA1A-Gasket

If you go to the dealer, bring your VIN with you as well as these part numbers. Part numbers change constantly so it is best for them to look them up with their information since it will be the most up to date.

You should also be able to give these part numbers to someone at a parts store and they should be able to cross-reference in their system. More than likely you might still have to go to the dealer for the gaskets.

Alternatively, you can go to https://parts.nissanusa.com
Input your part numbers and buy them right from the site. I used to work for Nissan, and they drop the prices dramatically on the site vs going to the actual dealer, by around 20-30% of retail. Then they are delivered right to your house. Have your VIN handy because you will need it so the site can verify fitment.

Thank you,
Brendon
