Cooling fan will engage when engine is cold (even if only started for a couple of minutes) and I noticed sometimes even if the engine was never started. I noticed this when charging the once again dead battery. I am thinking the coolant temp sensor is defective and the fan will run at any time thus killing the battery. Would this just be a defective temp sensor, or could it be a wiring issue?
