Coolant Flush Instructions?

I bought the vehicle listed above sr5 v6 in 9-15. I have had it now for 8 years. I have not had a coolant flush, had the radiator hoses or thermostat replaced. Me and a friend are going to do a flush on the 4runner. As you know I am sure. There is a skid plate underneath and the peacock valve in under the skid plate. Is there a way to do the flush without removing the plate? Also, would you recommend replacing the hoses/thermostat?

Yes, it is a good idea to replace the upper and lower radiator hoses along with the thermostat. Here is a guide to help you with the flush and I have included instructions for your vehicle in the images below:
