I just went to a Ford garage to ask what coolant I needed to use and they just said that I needed water in it. Does that mean there was enough coolant or should I buy some and put it in? Sorry I am new to driving so any light on my dashboard freaks me out!

Ford recommends their premium gold, but there should have something at the auto parts with 50/50 mix is good or if down about a quart add water.
