The Ford will need ten times more steering and suspension repairs than most other brands. There will be so many electrical problems that you will stop repairing some of them. Some national-level trainers consider Toyota seems to be the world's second best in terms of customer-friendly business practices. The only rated Hyundai higher. As for reliability, where I live in the northern rust belt, there are no 2003 Fords on the road, and most are gone from the salvage yards. There's Toyota's all over the place.

It is my opinion that Toyota is the most reliable car made. Just make sure the oil has been changed regularly. They have an internal sludge problem when oil changes are not kept up.
