Hi, I purchased this car two days ago from USA. I live in middle east Jordan in which temperature ranges between 80 degrees in summer and can reach 92 degrees on a hot day and reach about 35 degrees in winter. My question is the manual say use only 0w20 oil and 5w20 if the first is not available, but in our country the weather is hotter than USA, and our nature of ground is with many mountains so can 0w20 do the task in our country, please note the manual of hybrid car that come to our country directly from Japan says use 5w30 0r 10w30, is the engine is different
so I am confused what to use. Please help!

Believe me, your country is not hotter than the USA. Where I live we have had three months averaging 95 to 100 degrees.
They require 5W20 for a reason. The engine was engineered with very tight oil clearances and in some engines, they actually use fine spray nozzles. Using heavier oil can do severe internal damage.

I was using the recommended engine oil as in the owner's manual (0W-20 or 5w-20). Now I am using my car outside United States in the Middle-East.

The temperature here is between 23F and 108F. So what best engine oil viscosity type do you recommend me to use here in this climate?
Some say keep as manual, others say use5w30 or 10w30,
Note: Toyota Camry hybrid who come to Jordan from Japan, manual said 10w30
So please what I should put in my car which I import it from USA to Jordan Middle East
Thanks

I would just stick with the recommended oil weight. Those are the same temperatures we can see here in the USA.
