Code p0340

2010 DODGE JOURNEY

Gives this code (p0340). I replaced this cam sensor twice along with the crank sensor. still no start it just shut off on us driving. i don’t have spark or fuel going to engine. fuel pump kicks on and it just cranks. i rewired to the cam sensor as well, still nothing. Please help

Hello,

Since you have already replaced the component and still having the same issue, the problem might be wiring or another component that might be triggering that code.

I have attached the step by step diagnostics for the P0340 code.
You might have to go thru the steps to determine why you are having the issue.
You will need a multimeter to perform these steps. It will walk you thru the correct resistance and voltage for the harness.
