Since you have already replaced the component and still having the same issue, the problem might be wiring or another component that might be triggering that code.
I have attached the step by step diagnostics for the P0340 code.
You might have to go thru the steps to determine why you are having the issue.
You will need a multimeter to perform these steps. It will walk you thru the correct resistance and voltage for the harness.
