This is actually for a 2014 Maserati S Q4, I could not find an option for it. It feels like a limp mode where revving the motor the pedal has little response, code p0244.

Hi,

This model isn't listed in any of my manuals, but I will try my best to help.

As far as the code, it refers to an issue with the turbocharger wastegate solenoid "A" circuit. This code indicates that there is an electrical malfunction or circuit problem related to the wastegate solenoid.

Here are the general steps to address and repair the P0244 DTC:

Inspect the wastegate solenoid: Start by inspecting the wastegate solenoid and its wiring. Look for any signs of damage, loose connections, or corrosion. Ensure that the solenoid is properly connected and functioning.

Check the wiring and connectors: Examine the wiring harness and connectors associated with the wastegate solenoid. Look for any frayed wires, loose connections, or damaged insulation. Repair or replace any damaged wiring or connectors as necessary.

Test the wastegate solenoid: Using a multimeter, check the resistance of the wastegate solenoid. Compare the reading to the manufacturer's specifications. If the resistance is outside the acceptable range, the solenoid may need to be replaced.

Test the power and ground circuits: Test the power and ground circuits that supply electricity to the wastegate solenoid. Ensure that the solenoid is receiving the proper voltage and ground signals. If there is an issue with the power or ground circuits, diagnose and repair the underlying problem.

Clear the code and test: Once the repairs have been made, clear the DTC using an OBD-II scanner or by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. After clearing the code, take the vehicle for a test drive to ensure that the issue has been resolved. If the P0244 code does not reappear, the repair was successful.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
