I have the vehicle listed above 5 speed. I have replaced the clutch master and the slave cylinder. All was good, started losing fluid and pressure, had to replace the line. Removed quick release, somehow lost the small retaining clip that goes on it. I cannot find this clip at any store and get looked at like I'm stupid when I call to ask. What is the name/size/type of clip so I can replace it? Found one that was close, but every time I get pressure back, it pops out. What can I use or try so I can have my truck back? Please help. Thank you

This is called the clutch pressure line retainer clip, you might have to but the line to get it, I would call the dealer or try a dismantler for the line. Here are the instructions which show the name of the clip if you need it. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Thank you. We actually found the old clip and were able to use it. However, every time we try to bleed clutch, either the line pops the clip, or we can't get pressure in clutch. The clutch master, slave cylinder and line have all been replaced within the past 90 days.
Any ideas on what's wrong?

I would check the retainer fitting to make sure it is not damaged or broken. Please double check to make sure the hose has "clicked" into position. Which side does the line pop off of the master or secondary cylinder?

It pops out where it goes into transmission. I'm worried it's the slave or master. Again. And if it happens again, what's causing it? The retainer clip was the thing we had trouble getting. Maybe it's not the correct one? I will add pics as soon as I figure out how.

You can upload images with your response. Do you hear a click when install the line? If so, and the line still pops out, it sounds like the secondary cylinder is no good, but once you upload the images, we can tell for sure.
