When I push the clutch pedal, it goes straight to the floor easy, and I am unable to put the shifter into gear, it just has a grinding noise.

Hi,

Either we lost fluid, the slave cylinder failed, or the clutch master cylinder has failed.

Under the hood on the firewall, driver's side, you will see a round reservoir for the clutch master cylinder. Check to see if it is low on fluid. If it is, inspect around it and the clutch MC for evidence of leaks.

If there are no leaks, follow the hydraulic line from it to the transmission. That is where the slave cylinder is located. Check for leaks. If there are no leaks and the fluid isn't low, suspect a faulty clutch master cylinder or slave.

I attached directions below for bleeding the system. Try doing this to see if it makes any difference.

Let me know what you find or if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe
