I noticed while driving my car as I accelerate, I felt like I could feel my clutch slipping. Like the RPMs kept going up but for a short time the acceleration would stop. I also just moved to Texas, and it was 105 degrees outside and during those hot temperatures it was very hard to drive. I was almost shutting off my car at stoplights trying to go. Acceleration was basically zero. It just felt like my car was really trying and was sputtering. So, I thought maybe the seal was leaking in there maybe.

The lights that have been on my dash have been the “brake” “break wear” and the rear brake light signal and then TPMS light.

My ex had fixed my brakes before my trip to Texas. And my rear brake light dash signal comes on and off randomly. I’ve had my tire pressure checked and it’s always been okay, but I do have a slightly bent wheel (idk maybe that’s why).

I took it to someone who found the wire that connects to my brake wear sensor is not good. So, he’s going to replace that. He basically told me that with the electrical codes and the brake wire that my car basically thinks I don’t have brakes and it’s not allowing me to speed up as I should.

But I don’t want to make a mistake with this. I need my car for work.

I’m going to attach the codes that came up, I just basically want to know if y’all can tell me if the codes and/ or issues I’m having match up. Also attached video from my mechanic.

The other thing, and I’m not a mechanic, but when he was diagnosing my car and he had it hooked up and plugging the vin and stuff in, there were 3 options that popped up for it and none of them were my car. Two of them were Jetta's and the last one was a 2010 Golf, and idk if that’s how the software works or if it even matters. But it gave me some feelings of distrust, lol.

Thanks in advance.

That could be nothing, I can't read the code sheet, the text is too small. It sounds like the clutch is worn out but to be sure you can upload a short video of the problem so I can tell for sure, also this video may help:

Please go over this guide and get back to us. We only handle one problem per question so if you have more than one problem, please start a new question for it.
