My clutch cable is to the floor after trying to bypass my shifting problem. The car will go into gear when the car is off but not when car is on, I tried leaving it in gear when the car was off to bypass because car won't go into gear with the car on make since. After I did this my clutch stopped working now!

Should I bleed breaks to remove air and add fluid. Number 2 the transmission shifter cable will not go into gear when the car is on. Also, the car moves forward when trying to go into gear.

It sounds like the clutch disc may have come apart, when this happens the clutch stops working, but to be sure let's go over this video and guide:

and

Here are the shift cabler which need to be in good working order as well. I have also included how to do the clutch job in a similar car, the procedure is the same.

Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. You can upload it here with your response. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find.

Thanks for the videos. This problem happens when the clutch secondary cylinder or clutch master needs to be replaced. Can you see where the fluid is coming from?

Here is a video showing the job being done on a similar car, the procedure is the same:

Please go over this guide and get back to us.
