Clocking noise by drivers door under or behind dash

Over the last couple of days my automatic 03' Tiburon se has starting making a clicking noise. Its right behind the drivers side dash right around where my left foot sits. The noise comes and goes as I'm driving. It never happens when I'm stopped or in park.

Check to see if it's a relay clicking so you can check to see if there is a short in the wiring circuit. Or if it's a headlamp switch which would mean there may be a short in headlamp wiring.

I don't k ow how to do that by myself. Is this serious? Or is it okay if I wait a week or so before I go see a mechanic?
