I hear a click like sound coming from my back right wheel when I hit the brakes. It just happens once I step on the brake pedal and especially in the mornings but as soon as the car is driven for a while it stops. Also, whenever I go over a bump, even the minutest bump I hear it "click", like two metals clicking together. What could be the problem?

This could be a number of things rotors being warped, hardware is missing or damaged. The only thing you can do is disassemble the brakes to visually look and see what could be causing the issue.

Thanks for the quick response. I will have my mechanic check it right away. But say the things you mentioned are bad. Could they be repaired?

You would have to get new parts. They should all be fairly inexpensive.
