Our van was in a front end accident on the passengerside and since it was repaired the red dot lite on the dash comes on andthe van will not stay running . if you wait 15 to 20 mins. it some times will start. the owners manual told us what the lite as for. is there any way to just unhook the theft system.

It can't be done. Something is causing the problem. What you need to do in this case is take it to a dealer. They are the only ones with the proper test equipment to repair it.
