The van will start them die several times and then it won't even turn over. All the electrical stuff such as lights, p/l, p/w, works. After waiting an hour the van will start and drive fine. I have noticed that one of the spark plugs is bad and so is the wire. Could this be my problem? Or do I have bigger problems? Help please.

If you have a bad plug and wire (only one) it will cause a miss; however, it sounds like you may not be getting fuel all of the time. When the car doesn't start, check for spark and fuel to the engine.

Let me know what you find.

Should replace your cap rotor and plugs. Drive it about 50 miles to see if the check engine light turns on or off. If it turns on then buy a code reader, which are pretty cheap now days and see where you are misfiring. If you have multiple misfiring you may want to check your ignition coil and in some cases have you injectors flushed. There are several problems it may be but at the worst a burnt valve, which will scorch the top of your piston.

Thank you, Joe for all your help. I got it to the shop and they found out it is the coil pack.

Sincerely,
Lorwayne
