2002 Chrysler Sebring Check Engine Light

The check engine light came on today when I started my car it has never done that before it remained on the entire 46 miles I drove home, I go try and keep the oil changed every 3000 miles and just had that done.
I am just afraid I will be on the road to or from work and get stranded

Dont worry just yet, bring it to your local parts place/autozone and get a free computer scan, jot the trouble codes down and bring them to me and I will let you know what you need to do. In the mean time check all your fluids and top them off. Especially coolant.
