Engine Cooling problem
2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i have changed the water pump, the thermostat and the fan motor the coolant is circulating and the fan is coming on.i am not losing any coolant and tho oil looksa good what am i miswsing i thought it might be the sensor but the fan is coming on ther sensor that i am talking about is located by the water inlet is where the plug is am i correct on the sensor location and what am i missing

Is the vehicle actually running hot or is there a possiability the gauge is inaccurate. Good way to check would be to purchase an infrared temperature gauge and compare the two temperatures. If vehicle is actually overheating trying turning heat on in car to see if it brings the temperature down. That would indicate poor flow. Possiably the radiator.

When vehicle is running hot Grab the upper and lower radiator hose see if the temperatures are close to the same. The upper hose should be slightly cooler but not much. If the fans are both comig on and staying on when hot I doubt it would be the temperature sensor. If its easy to try coring a thermostat and installing it in place of the original one.

there is alot of pressurwe in the upper hose and i tried the thermastat with the middle pressure spring and core out

Yeah this one is puzzling. New water pump, core t stat. no leaks, and the fans come on. You could try doing a block test to see if your losing coolant internally, or getting exhausted gases in cooling system. Only other thing i can think of is blockage in the radiator. I know you were saying you have good flow, but if one core or more is blocked it could still be the issue.

You could try and use infared temp gauge move it along cores of radiator to try to determine if there is blockage.
