How do I access the rear light assembly to replace a brake light bulb? I removed the two bolts inside the rear hatch but it seems to still not want to come out?

Hello,

To remove the taillamp assembly follow this procedure:
Open liftgate, remove two hex head bolts in inner D-pillar.
Rotate the lamp assembly away from the vehicle.
This will release the stud that goes into a grommet on the front side of the lamp.

Some times you will have to use good bit of force to get that stud out of the grommet.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
