I have a 1990 Chrysler Lebaron convertible with 158000 miles on it and the rear electric windows do not go down. I know almost all lebarons have this problem unless they were fixed, and I have an idea how to fix it but I am not quite sure. Can you help me out. Thanks.

I also have a 1990 Chrysler Lebaron conv. I fixed my rear windows in this manner. First you have to remove the back seat entirely. Then you have to remove the side panels to get at the motors for the windows. Remove the windows on each side. There are three screws that hold the window assembly in place. When you have the window assembly removed you will see at the bottom of the electric motor a small hole. Take some WD40 and spray into the hole. What happens is moisture gets into the motor causeing the motor to seize up. I got a wire and plug from a salvage yard so I could run the motor and spray it with WD40 at the same time. To prevent this from happening again in the rocker panel near the jacking pin you drill a 1/2" ho;e so moisture can escape. Chrysler had a recall on this problem in 1990. They issued a recall to the dealers which shows the exact location to drill the 1/2" hole. If you cannot find from a dealer where to drill the holes let me know and I will email you the template.
