Are you unlocking it with the key fob or the key? If the key in the lock cylinder, try it in the other front door. If that works, the switch in the left door is disconnected, defective, or there's a broken wire between the two door hinges.
The theft alarm is programmed into the engine computer, body computer, and remote keyless entry computer. If you replace either the body or engine computer, the other one will teach the anti-theft programming to the new one. That anti-theft programming can not be undone. It might be possible to replace the engine and body computers at the same time with ones that were never in a car with the anti-theft system, and to remove the remote keyless entry computer, but I would ask an expert at your local friendly Dodge dealer first. I was never asked to do that.
Chrysler's anti-theft system is normally quite reliable; not like the GM system that is very effective at keeping owners out of their own cars! If your system doesn't disarm with the key fob, (but the doors do unlock), replace the Remote Keyless Entry module.
