If you just installed a new battery and still no good there are certain fundamentals we check on any dead car. Are the connections and cables ok? Is the alternator operating? Is there something drawing power out of the battery when the key is out and doors are locked? And is the new battery any good? All must be checked on a battery installation so when you install a new battery for a customer, it doesn't fail to start again. The starter could also be drawing too much juice. If you have a voltmeter and test light(6-12 volt) let me know and we can go over the specs for your car to see what is happening. The engine itself may be older and hard to turn. I had to put two batteries hooked in parallel just to start an old Ford step van at an airport I was working at to help a company with their ground vehicles. Ok The 2carpros site has all the information you need about how it works also and a store with great tools and test equipment. A meter or light is cheap and it will always come in handy.
