Transmission problem
1993 Chrysler Imperial 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100k+ miles

I was pulling into a local car shop with an open pit to work underneath the vehicles and it had metal side rails on both sides of the pit, my car sits VERY low to the ground and while pulling in the rails on the pit hit something underneath the front of my car jerking the car to a painful stop (Traveling less then 1 MPH). It drove fine on the way to another car shop after this (3 miles total trip) and even drove it home when I went to go drive it then ext day the car turned on as normal, switched gears as normal, but when I hit the accelerator the engine revs but VERY little to no movement from the car.

Pressing the gas peddle 3/4 of the way to the floor moves the vehicle very slightly but there's obviously something wrong.

Please help! I'm all about paying other people for their time and work and will donate as soon as I can!

Thank you in advance!

Hi:
Based on your description, check under the car for damage to the trans pan, axle seals. See if there are any trans fluid leaks. Also, make sure the trans is full.

Let me know what you find.
Joe
