2000 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3l engine. At least four times now the serpentine belt has come off in wet weather. This happened at least once with our previous vehicle, a 1998 Caravan, and I have heard of at least one other similar van where this has happened. I put on a new belt and it still came off again. Any idea what is causing it to come while driving in heavy rain or going through a puddle?

Hello the problem is with the pulleys they need ears on them to hold the belt on. I have a 1998 and the belt has come off with me 5 times in two months and two belts later, I am trying to find some pulleys with ears that will interchange soon as I do I will let you know what will interchange and this will fix our problem.I called chryslar myself on this problem and they dont care. It is a very dangerous problem when the belt comes off. But anyways will keep everyone posted.
