Ok, I changed the power steering pump in my car and it was just fine all night. I went out the next morning and started my car and the power steering pump was Whinning real bad. I drove the car about 150 miles and then it started leaking real bad. What happened? I cant tell exactly where it is leaking from so I was trying to get ideas!

HI:
If the ps was whinning bad, chances are it was low on fluid. Check the high pressure hose to make sure it isn't leaking from there. Did you replace the hoses?

Hi:
Without being there, my guess is one of the hoses is leaking.

Let me know what you find.

I went and got a power steering pump from the junkyard and I put it on. Well it lasted longer than the last one but it was only about 4 days. And this time it didnt whine at all it just totally quit. What is going on! I went and bought another pump and I bought a new High pressure hose and im going to try that! If that dont work than I will probably freak out! Got any other ideas if that dont work?
