My wife car shakes and wobbles. We just got struts put on the back. It was not shaking before the struts were put on the back. We do need to get the stuts put on the front. Would that explain why it is shaking now? One more question: when were are sitting idle in the car for a few minutes it will begin to smoke but it is not overheating. The thermastat has been changed and the fan been replaced also. What can it be? The tempature gage does not show that it is overheating neither.

If the struts were replaced at a shop, take the car back and tell them about the problem. A wheel could be loose, debris or corrosion could have gotten behind the wheel, or there could be an alignment problem.

As for the smoke, if it is white, that is coolant leaking through a head gasket and is the most common. Blue smoke is oil, and black smoke is too much fuel.
