I need a rebuilt Transmission and I want to get the normal price for this job and what type of warranty should I receive also.

I also need the price to replace the gaskets for a oil leak?

It is hard to estimate what the trans would cost to rebuild because there are hard part that can go bad which will increase the cost.

The average cost of an overhaul including labor is around 2000.00. If you get a used transmission, expect to pay around 700.00 to 1,000.00 for it and then you have labor to remove and replace it. Chances are you are looking around 500.00 in labor.

If it was mine, I would have my transmission checked and rebuilt if possible. You never know what you'll get from a salvage yard. Plus you can expect like a 30 day warranty on the used parts.

Now, which gasket is leaking on the engine?
