The owner of the car that I just purchased had noticed that the car was losing power and stalling out. He thought a new filter would fix the problem, but after checking online I am convinced there is more to the problem than just a dirty fuel filter. I wish it was that easy. After reading about all the owner's woes I am not sure how to tackle the problem. It seems owner's have gone to great lengths to solve this problem with no concrete solutions.
Has Chrysler addressed this issue? Has the remedy been used by a number of people? Is it a ground wire? Valve? Dirty fuel?

Start with the basic tune-up. Plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Air filter and PCV valve too.
If all that have been done, try cleaning out your EGR, IAC motor, and TPS sensor.
