there's a crackling noise that you can hear upon starting and right after slightly stepping on the gas. it lasts for a few seconds and stops. The noise is present when the car is parked and and the engine is running. I stepped on the gas and after i let go of my foot then there's the noise. its like a crackling noise that you can hear somewhere around the engine itself. maybe like a loose fan or belt. but the belts that i see seems not be loose anyhow. so it might be something inside.

I need you to check something. Take a rubber mallot and tap on the exhaust system to see if you can recreate the sound. It could be a loose heat shield or an internally loose catylatic converter.

Let me know what you find.
