Rough idle no power

My car was running just fine until one day it stopped running. Then when I restarted it it was running really really rough and has no power. I tried to fuel filter, no change whatsoever. It has some engine ping and kind of acts like the timing belt skipped except for these cars do not have a timing belt. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Also, after going back in trying a few things I noticed that the oil light stays on. It is completely full of oil.

I would first run the codes.

If no codes these car had a big problem with the coil pack and ignition module. I would try to find a used one and plug it in here is a diagram that can help.
