I have a noise when the engine get warm and it stay for a while as long as the engine in warm. So I did get the main pulley changed and I was told that the other one will be needed to soon, it was stayed that it will cause no harm, but am I willing to put up with the noise. When do anyone really know when that need a tune-up. I haven't had my wires changed going on 4 yrs or more. Is it true that when you vehicle have a larger amount of miles on it you should get the timing belt check along with the water pump and the belt that goes on it. Please let me know.

Your owners manual should have a maintenance schedule in it. Some of my info says at least every two years change serpentine belt. If the belt looks worn or cracked, I replace it. Sometimes I keep the old belt in the back of vehicle as a spare.

Your engine doesn't have a timing belt so that's not an issue. We don't really have tune ups done at specific intervals any more. There are a number of different type ignition systems that require different types of maintenance. You have a DIS system with wires. The wires will usually fail first, usually somewhere around 80K and the plugs and filters should be changed at the same time.
