no spark

I have a 02 chevy express 3500 with a 5.7 120000,I just got done installing a rebulit head & a fuel pump ,I started it up and it would keep stalling with the pvc valve connected,if i disconected the pvc valve it would run well ,but the idle was alittle high,Iput the valve in and it stalled I left it alone for a couple of hours than i tried agian, no spark i held the coil wire in my hand and cranked it over and no spark,can some please help
