1987 PU Chevrolet v10 4x4 5.7 350 bowl F.I.

The truck idles rough with white exhaust. When revved while in neutral it is rough coming up in rpms and sometimes never fully reaches max rpm. When put into drive and start to accelerate it acts like it is flooding itself and bogs down. You have to continually pump the accelerator to get the truck to move. The truck never comes up to speed. It also drains the battery at the sametime. It is as if whatever is causing the problem is drawing too much amps.

I have replaced the O2 sensor. It sounds like maybe the fuel pump is malfunctioning?

Thank you for your help.

The truck idles rough with white exhaust. could be coolant mixing with the A/F mix causing it to run rough.

Check the TPS/MAF/MAP sensors and also look for an exhaust restriction. Follow thur with the fuel pressure.
